The 13th arrondissement is getting into the spirit of open-air cinema, once again offering a program of films for the general public to (re)discover in key locations in the arrondissement, such as Parc de Choisy and Square Paul Grimault.

As temperatures drop and the evening approaches, how about a little outdoor cinema? This activity, often free of charge in the capital, has now spread to many arrondissements and towns in the inner suburbs. If you live in the 13th arrondissement, or if the summer program appeals to you, head to Ciné Quartier 13, from July 18 to August 8, 2025, for a family or friends movie accessible to all.

Join usevery Friday in the borough's parks and gardens , to rediscover a selection of four films for the general public, on the theme of nature in this year's edition. A chance to be moved by the beauty, diversity and fragility of living things, with works that invite us, with poetry, humor and inventiveness, to question the fragile relationships between human beings, animals and nature.

The program

  • LA MARCHE DE L'EMPEREUR
Friday, July 18 at Parc de Choisy

The story of the emperor penguins and their reproductive cycle is unique in the world. It combines love, drama, courage and adventure in the heart of Antarctica, the most isolated and inhospitable region on the planet. A scenario offered by nature, perpetuated for millennia and only discovered by mankind at the beginning of the 20th century. The Emperor's March tells this extraordinary story...

  • FANTASTIC MR. FOX
Friday, July 25 at Square Paul Grimault

Mr. Fox, the most cunning of chicken thieves, his wife Mrs. Fox, Ash, his son, cousin Kristofferson and all the other animals of the forest challenge three odious farmers. They're in for the most perilous and delirious of adventures.

Rroû is a lively, curious kitten who discovers life on the rooftops of Paris. His destiny changes when ten-year-old Clémence adopts him and takes him to her country house in the heart of the mountains. And so begins an extraordinary adventure for Clémence and Rroû, who grow up together, cross paths with the mysterious Madeleine and live a wonderful story that will change them forever.

As a mysterious evil turns humans into animals, a man sets out to find his infected wife and their teenage son.
