Review:

Luca is a lovely animated film for the whole family to enjoy. With its cheerful, colorfulimages, this cartoon is a real morale booster! The sumptuous landscapes make you want to go on vacation. I loved the immersion in Italy, right down to the characters' accents (especially pronounced in the original version, but also present in the French version).

Above all, Luca is a beautiful story that advocates values of freedom, friendship, respect and tolerance that I hold dear and that resonate with many people! The two children made me laugh out loud with their dream of a Vespa that would take them on an extraordinary adventure. Their boundless enthusiasm is heart-warming!

In short, while I didn't learn a great deal and didn't necessarily grow out of it, it's a piece of entertainment that has the merit of fulfilling its objective! There's never a dull moment! You're drawn in by the kids' incredible stunts and the parents' unconventional ploys to find their son.

And the man who knows best is director Enrico Casarosa:
