For this new and 5th edition, the much-anticipated Cinescale open-air film festival returns to the picturesque Montmartre district of Paris. On August 20 and 21, 2025, open-air screenings give pride of place to short films dealing with two fascinating themes: intergenerational relationships and cultural exchange through travel.

Held in the charming Square Marcel Bleustein Blanchet, located at 1 Rue de la Bonne, 75018 Paris, the festival starts at 8.30pm each evening. Admission is free, but registration is required to take part in this not-to-be-missed cultural event of the Parisian summer.
The program for the event will be unveiled in July, offering spectators the opportunity to enjoy innovative and stimulating works that explore the interactions between generations and the cultural exchanges that arise from travel.
During these two summer evenings, cinephiles meet in the Parisian park: deckchairs are available, and a refreshment bar is open for spectators. It's a good idea to bring a plaid for added comfort.
For its fifth edition, the Cinescale festival promises a unique open-air cinematic experience. The friendly atmosphere of the Montmartre district, combined with the vision of international artists, transforms the urban space into a place for reflection, sharing and creativity. As the summer days draw to a close, the skies over Montmartre light up with captivating stories and cultural exchanges, making the Cinescale festival a not-to-be-missed date in the Parisian cultural calendar.
