Gilles Lellouche 's career is taking an unexpected turn. The actor seems to have taken a liking to "bigger than life" true stories, like Bac Nord, Le Grand Bain, his first film, and now Kompromat. This film, directed by Jérôme Salle (Largo Winch, L'Odyssée), is broadcast this Friday, March 10, at 9:10 pm on Canal+.

In addition to Gilles Lellouche, we find a cast of Russian actors including Mikhail Safronov, Michael Gor, but also the Polish actress Joanna Kulig, seen in the film Cold War.

The synopsis

Russia, 2017. Mathieu Roussel is arrested and imprisoned in front of his daughter. A French expatriate, he is the victim of a "kompromat", compromising false documents used by the Russian secret services to harm an enemy of the state. Threatened with a life sentence, he has only one option left: to escape and reach France by his own means...
