Amnesty Film Festival: a fine program of committed films, February 2-4

For its 14th edition, Amnesty Film Festival, the film festival organized by Amnesty International, returns from Friday February 2 to Sunday February 4. On the program: the screening of committed feature films, which exist to show, alert and denounce attacks on fundamental rights and human dignity. In addition to the screenings, these three days will be an opportunity to meet and discuss with the filmmakers and members of Amnesty International. Rendezvous at the Luminor Hôtel de Ville cinema in Paris's 4th arrondissement.

Seven films will be shown, followed by meetings. There will be both fiction and documentaries from different countries, with three prizes awarded: the Human Rights Grand Prix, the Jury Prize and the Audience Prize.

Saturday, February 3rd

• 2:00 pm: Avant que les flammes ne s'éteignent, by Medhi Fikri, followed by the round table: "Films in danger".
• 5:00 pm: Pierre, feuille, pistolet, by Maciek Hamela, followed by a panel discussion
• 8:00 pm: Orlando, ma biographie politique, by Paul B. Preciado, followed by a discussion

Sunday, February 4th

• 2:00 pm: Les filles d'Olfa, by Kaouter Ben Hania, followed by a discussion
• 5:00 pm: L'amour et les forêts, by Valérie Donzelli, followed by a discussion
• 8:00 pm: Chroniques de Téhéran, by Ali Asgari and Alireza Khatami, followed by a cocktail reception
