Sous la Seine, the new Netflix film directed by Xavier Gens will be available this summer. The shark movie is set during an event at the 2024 Olympics, with cast members Bérénice Béjo, Nassim Lyes and Léa Léviant.

Sous la Seine, the new thriller from Xavier Gens, arrives on Netflix this summer. On the eve of the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games, the director decides to cool things down with a new shark movie set in Paris' La Seine during the competition.

The cast includes Bérénice Béjo ( The Artist, Le Jeu ), Nassim Lyes ( En passant pécho and Le dernier mercenaire for Netflix) and Léa Léviant ( Belle-Fille) for a suspenseful thriller. The film takes place during an event at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. Mika, an environmental activist played by Léa Léviant, warns Sophia, a top scientist played by Bérénice Béjo, that a large shark is present in the depths of La Seine. They find themselves teaming up with river police commander Adil, played by Nassim Lyes, to avert disaster.

The director of the hit comedy Budapest, starring Jonathan Cohen and Manu Payet, has released Farang, an action film also starring Nassim Lyes, in 2023.

Netflix has unveiled a first image from the action film, and we can't wait to discover more in an official trailer. Xavier Gens ' film will be released in the appropriate context, the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics, being July 26, 2024 .
