Rebel Moon: a first trailer for the new Zack Snyder film on Netflix

First announced at Tudum, Netflix's annual online event, Rebel Moon, Zack Snyder's new film , now has a trailer and full title: Rebel Moon - Part one: A Child of Fire. The space-opera is due on the platform on December 22.

For this new feature, the director of Justice League, 300 and Army of the Dead, also on Netflix, turns to science fiction. The project is billed as a cross between Star Wars and Akira Kurosawa's cult classic The Seven Samurai. The filmmaker has surrounded himself well with Sofia Boutella(Climax) in the lead role, as well as Charlie Hunnam(Sons of Anarchy, The Gentlemen), Djimon Hounsou(Shazam!), Doona Bae(#JeSuisLà, Les Bonnes Étoiles) and Anthony Hopkins.

Rebel Moon synopsis

A peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy. Soon, it finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical regent Balisarius. They send a young woman with a mysterious past to seek out warriors on neighboring planets to help them settle there.
