Vrai de Vrai 2026: the free Documentary Stars festival in Paris

Vrai de Vrai puts documentaries center stage for its 21st edition. Organized by LaScam, the festival brings together the 30 works honored by the Documentary Stars, a selection that brings films made for television into conversation with films made for cinema.

The program includes Les Corps électriques, by Raphaël Stora, and Je n’avais que le néant, by Guillaume Ribot. The closing night is devoted to Viendra la révolution, by Pegah Ahangarani. The festival thus offers an opportunity to discover several approaches to documentary filmmaking at a single event.

The Étoiles are awarded by a jury of writers. This year’s jury is chaired by Laëtitia Moreau. Its selection is the starting point for the event, which brings the award-winning films to the screen.
