The Festival du Film Libanais de France is back in Paris from October 13 to 18, 2026. In its sixth edition, the festival showcases 47 titles, including world premieres, previews, and restored works. Public screenings take place at the Élysées-L Lincoln cinema in the 8th arrondissement, with a lineup that puts contemporary cinema in conversation with the film heritage.
Nadine Labaki is the guest of honor at this edition. The retrospective brings together Caramel, And Now Where Are We Going?, and Capharnaüm. The screening of Capharnaüm will be followed by a conversation with the director: a chance to revisit her career and the recurring themes in her cinema.
The competition features 30 short films, including 16 student productions. For the first time, audiences will be able to award the Audience Prize. The 17 out-of-competition titles include nine documentaries and eight fiction films, weaving stories about memory, social change, and personal journeys.
The program also reserves a spot for restored works and their dissemination, notably L’Abri, by Rafik Hajjar, and Les Enfants de la guerre, by Jocelyne Saab. Conversations with the teams accompany several screenings. Ticketing for screenings is open to the public; the opening at the Institut du Monde Arabe and the professional meetings are by invitation.
