For the third year running, UGC cinemas are launching Pestacles UGC, a must-see event for young moviegoers and their families. For more than two months, every Sunday morning, UGC cinemas across France will screen iconic films for children aged 4 to 10, at an attractive rate of €6 per ticket. This event, supported by France Inter and JouéClub, combines cinema, education and entertainment in a fun and immersive way.
The films screened are carefully selected to suit all age groups, guaranteeing an appropriate and enriching experience. From the age of 4, children can discover classics such as Dumbo, The Aristochats, The Jungle Book and Aladdin. For older children (aged 8 and over), films such as Chihiro's Journey, Pom Poko and Toy Story 3 offer an equally magical cinematic experience.
Each screening will be preceded by excerpts from France Inter's podcasts Les Odyssées, Bestioles and Tina et le trésor de Néfertiti, an original addition that plunges young and old alike into the world of great historical figures, the animal world and the legends of ancient Egypt, enriching the cinematic experience.
What's more, JouéClub, a partner of the event, will be offering a cinema-themed quiz at each screening, enabling young spectators to win prizes of toys and games. This initiative reinforces the fun and educational aspect of the event, encouraging children's curiosity and learning while keeping them entertained.
