Prime Video unveils the cast of LOL: Season 6, with a new twist — now played in duos! The highly anticipated season is set to premiere in 2026.

Prime Video has announced the launch of the sixth season of LOL: Who’s Laughing, Out!, its popular comedy show, which started filming yesterday. Produced by Endemol France, this new season marks a major shift in the format with the introduction of a new rule: for the first time, the competition will mainly be played in pairs. The season is set to stream exclusively on Prime Video in France and other French-speaking countries in 2026.

Philippe Lacheau, the actor, screenwriter, and director, steps back into the leading role within the show’s format. Surrounding him is a revamped cast that blends seasoned comedians with popular figures from the French comedy scene, paired up this season with one notable exception: an announced trio considered inseparable.

The participants of this sixth season are divided into teams: Jérémy Ferrari, Baptiste Lecaplain, and Arnaud Tsa mère will form a trio, while Jonathan Lambert teams up with Kad Merad. Marine Leonardi will partner with Paul de Saint-Sernin, Elena Nagapetyan with GuiHome, and Alban Ivanov alongside Paul Mirabel. Together, they'll try to make their opponents laugh without ever cracking themselves, or face collective elimination.

The official trailer will be added as soon as it is released by Prime Video.

This new gameplay mechanic drastically shifts the balance of the game. Traditional penalties are now shared among teammates, and eliminations become a collective affair, heightening the strategic element and fostering stronger team bonds. As in previous seasons, each participant still holds a Joker card, which can be played at any moment to turn the game around.

Among the upcoming features announced are Conspi-Room, a brand-new game zone, and the enigmatic Secret Boots, described as items capable of turning the rules upside down. The format stays true to its core concept: a comedy-packed, closed-door setting built around improvisation, resisting laughter, and escalating humor to the max.
