The sixth installment in the film series adapted from the comic L’Élève Ducobu by Godi and Zidrou, Ducobu et le Fantôme de Saint-Potache is directed by Élie Semoun. With Halloween just around the corner, Professor Latouche and Miss Rateau move into a house haunted by the ghost of Anatole, once regarded as Saint-Potache’s greatest dunce. This mischievous specter drags Ducobu, Léonie, their parents and Kitrish into a series of misadventures as funny as they are unexpected.
Élie Semoun reprises the role of Gustave Latouche and co-writes the screenplay with Guy Laurent and Marc de Chauveron. The film broadens the saga’s core drivers—the scheming of Ducobu, his rivalry with his teacher, and his bond with Léonie—while introducing a Halloween-inspired fantastical dimension.
Produced by Les Films du Premier and Les Films du 24, in cooperation with TF1 Films Production and Umedia Production, the film was shot in Belgium. UGC will handle its distribution in France. The five previous installments in the saga have racked up more than six million admissions.
