In this new tale, the teachers and Boulard embark on a school trip to Belgium before being blown back in time, landing right in the middle of a Napoleonic battle. The story drops them into an era when public schooling doesn’t exist yet, facing the Emperor’s troops. The production note thus places the film between a school comedy, time travel, and a historical spoof.
The announced cast brings together Isabelle Nanty in the role of Gladys, Christian Clavier as Tirocu, Pierre-François Martin-Laval as Polochon, Arnaud Ducret as the physical education teacher, Stéfi Celma as the French teacher, Fred Tousch as the chemistry teacher, Jean-Luc Couchard as the philosophy teacher, Laurent Stocker in the part of Napoleon, and Tom Boudet as Boulard.
Les Profs 3 is produced by Romain Rojtman, through Les Films du Premier and Les Films du 24, with TF1 Films Production and Umedia Production as co-producers. The film features involvement from Disney+, TF1 and TMC, while UGC holds the distribution rights.
This sequel continues the storyline of a franchise that originated from the comic book Les Profs, published by Bamboo Édition.
