After lawns, the courtyards of monuments and quays, cinema offers itself a new backdrop. From September 24 to 27, 2026, Cinéma Paradiso will occupy the Eiffel Tower for a first, free edition perched 57 meters above Paris.

Outdoor cinema screenings continue to roll out across Paris and Île-de-France. Following Cinéma Paradiso Louvre and alongside other events such as Paradiso at the Seine Musicale, the festival imagined by mk2 opens a new chapter by taking up residence for the first time inside the Eiffel Tower, from September 24 to 27, 2026.

Titled Cinéma Paradiso tour Eiffel, this edition will be staged in the Salle Gustave Eiffel, on the monument’s first floor, 57 meters above Paris. After six editions at the Louvre, where thousands of spectators gathered in the Cour Carrée, the festival changes venues without changing its premise: bringing cinema out of its dark rooms and into unconventional spaces. This new edition continues the momentum of the summer screenings, this time with a bit more height.

The film lineup hasn’t been announced yet. It will be unveiled on September 8, 2026, alongside the guests and the events planned around the screenings. The sessions will remain free, but seats will be allocated by lottery. Registration will open on the same day on the site mk2-festivalparadiso.com.

No loungers or lawns this time, but an indoor hall on the first floor of the Iron Lady. The only thing left to do is to keep an eye on when the free ticket office opens to try to land a seat!
