That tour has since become renowned as the band's final run with their iconic frontman Freddie Mercury, who passed away on November 24, 1991.
Set three years before the fall of the Berlin Wall, this Queen concert in Budapest was also the first Western rock show staged in a stadium behind the Iron Curtain. A concert that remains etched in the minds of many, and that fans will get to rediscover on the big screen this fall.
At this show in Budapest, Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and the others had the crowd on its feet, delivering a string of their timeless hits, including “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” “I Want To Break Free,” and “We Are The Champions.”
