A pianist seeking serenity moves into the heart of a Lyonnais bouchon: A Little Slice of Happiness teams up Pierre Arditi and Laurent Gerra to explore this coexistence. Written and directed by Jacques Santamaria, the TV movie airs on France 3 Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 9:10 PM.
Pierre Arditi portrays Jérôme, a composer who leaves Paris to return to Lyon, his hometown, while he questions the direction of his career. His new neighbor, the restaurateur Sylvestre, played by Laurent Gerra, gives him a warm welcome. But Sylvestre’s two teenage daughters, in contrast, lead a way of life that hardly fits the quiet the musician is seeking.
The bouchon “Aux Amis retrouvés” becomes the gathering spot for these neighbors. Meals and Lyonnais cooking take center stage in this homecoming tale, as Sylvestre’s circle tries to coax Jérôme out of his isolation. Cassiopée Mayance and Yuna Nicolino portray the two teenage girls.
