This adrenaline-charged, on-trend team adventure, played with friends in groups of 3 to 5, invites you to combine your knowledge and reflexes and collaborate for an hour to face bad luck and escape a perilous adventure. Nicely put together, this submarine serves as the setting for two missions: a commando-style assault on a Russian submarine, and a rescue operation. One room, two puzzles, it's truly a commendable feat. Indeed, Hint Hunt's team has designed two difficulty levels to come out unscathed from this mad submarine, with different traps to outsmart depending on the crew's level.
Used to escape rooms, we tested the Rescue Mission, in a trio (yes, almost kamikaze mode), and we nearly pulled it off (one mistake away!). Immersive and well put together, you truly get swept along by the Hint Hunt team. It stays engaging every minute; there’s no déjà vu in the puzzles or the maneuvers, plenty of laughs, and, of course, moments of intense stress that are the heart and soul of escape games. The tense soundscape and dim lighting squeeze you into a claustrophobic mood, and even knowing the submarine is just “virtual,” docked in the heart of Paris, you panic and crave solid ground as soon as possible. This submarine throws you a hundred traps, since some elements don’t matter at all and waste your time, for better or for worse.
We're hooked on this new experience, which, frankly, is well worth trying and cements Hint Hunt’s position as the Paris market leader.
