Travelers of Teyvat, take note: a new stop opens its doors in Paris! The first official Genshin Impact café in France welcomes its first visitors in the Bastille district, starting August 14, 2026. Named Genshin Café Paris, this permanent venue at 7 rue Froment in the 11th arrondissement channels the visuals and universe of Teyvat imagined by HoYoverse. A Special Menu for the Café’s Launch

The opening of the cafe coincides with the launch of Genshin Impact version 7.0, which introduces Snezhnaya, the seventh nation in the game's world. On this occasion, visitors will be able to participate in a special event titled "Let's grab a coffee, heading to Snezhnaya", organized until September 3, 2026. The decor will be entirely devoted to this new region, and a temporary menu will spotlight Odette, a future playable character from Snezhnaya.

This lineup will feature dedicated collectible items as well as 100 Primogems. Fans will also be able to score various gifts by taking part in on-site activities, such as sharing content on social media, a Teyvat message wall, or answering a questionnaire.

Designed as a permanent hub, the Genshin Café will bring together several elements drawn directly from the game. Visitors can expect themed food and drinks, a fan-art and art-creation exhibit, limited-edition merchandise, and spaces to sample the latest version of Genshin Impact. HoYoverse also plans to host, over the long term, official and community events. Access to the various activities, however, will require advance booking via the publisher’s platform.

Our take on the Genshin Impact Café:

We got a sneak peek before the doors opened. An hour ahead of the public launch, we regrouped at 7 rue Froment for a quick tour of the spaces and a first look at the menu. From the moment you arrive, you’re plunged into the vibe with a kawaii-inspired setup and plenty of nods to the franchise. Then the tour begins...

Our verdict:

First, the space itself: surprisingly spacious, spread over two levels (ground floor and basement). A few tables flank the bar at the entrance, and a large table in the basement accommodates bigger groups. Not to mention a gaming station stocked for playing Genshin Impact (not yet installed at our visit, but expected soon, we’re told) and a shop selling official merch. It feels airy without going overboard.

As for activities, besides the gaming station and the shop, there’s also a photo spot for fans, plus a wall for messages if you want to leave your mark for the community. More events will roll in from time to time, aligned with in-game happenings or other tie-ins.

Regarding the menu, we were invited to sample the event-specific menu, featuring one drink and a dessert. Think a blue tiramisu, subtly vanilla, built with biscuits and buttercream. It’s a tasty dessert, not overly sweet, with interesting textures, but it could have punchier flavor.

As for the drink, it’s a pale blue concoction studded with matcha pearls. It has a peculiar, very watery texture and is served cold with ice. The menu is priced at €14, so you’ll want to weigh the value before ordering. We also tried another item from the regular menu, a mango cheesecake. A very flavorful dessert, a touch sweet but nicely balanced overall. The concept is intriguing.

Note that access to the café is by reservation. Some might see that as a hurdle, but the calm and comfort are well worth a small concession—a crowded café would blunt the full experience. A must-visit address for dedicated fans of the game.

With this opening, HoYoverse adds to Paris a new space dedicated to one of its flagship titles. This café will evolve in step with future Genshin Impact updates and the events surrounding the game, offering a new gathering spot for the French community and anyone looking to discover this universe.
