With the exception of the Nintendo Switch, which saw its release pushed back to November 14, 2023. PlayStation was the first to announce this game, developed by Avalanche. It was they again who released the State of Play on March 17, 2022, whose images were captured on PS5. So gamers soon knew that Hogwarts Legacy would be released on PS4 and PS5.

On December 13, 2022, the suspense finally came to an end: the game's Twitter account revealed the official release dates for each console. Hogwarts Legacy was available from February 10, 2023 on PS5, Xbox X/S and PC. We had to wait until May 5 for PS4 and Xbox One players, and November 14, 2023 for Nintendo Switch wizards.
