Calling all fans of escape games and other enigmas: on the evening of September 11, 2023, the Escape Game Awards ceremony was held, returning for a new edition to coincide with the second edition of the Salon de l'Escape Game, held in Lyon on the same day. And on the program were awards for every region of France, with prizes awarded by region!
But what exactly are the Escape Game Awards? It's a ceremony at which the best venues and brands from all over the country are crowned each year. And there's no need to meet any criteria to compete: all rooms and brands are automatically selected and can win a prize, depending on your votes.
A ceremony created in 2015 by escapegame.fr, the leading site for escape games in France, and which originally rewarded the best rooms in Paris. In 2017, it opened up to the whole country, with three prizes awarded: best game, best decor and best sign!
