Pack synopsis:

Move to San Sequoia, a bustling town with an ancient history, and live a rich family life filled with sleepovers, drama and self-discovery. Let your parents move in with you - or not - and see how it affects your relationships. Navigate through your midlife crisis and gain new personality traits. Meet strangers and become instant friends - or enemies! There's a lot to experience, together.

This new pack takes us to Sans Sequoia, a seaside town inspired by San Francisco, with three different neighborhoods and twelve housing lots, a park and a lake. There are plenty of outdoor activities for all members of the family. This expansion focuses on the relationships between Sims and their personal development.

The new gameplay allows us to set milestones on life's important stages: loss of the first baby tooth, marriage, graduation, first day of school, learning to ride a bike, first job... The Sims thus become more complex, their lives richer, and we can see their progression and their history thanks to these milestones that remain in memory.

Our characters' day-to-day lives are also enriched by a wide range ofactivities and development options , for all stages of life. Learn to roll over, ride a bike, do puzzles as a family, play tricks on a sleepover, have a baby shower, lose your first tooth, play dominoes, build tree houses, take a walk with the kids, change diapers or keep fit in retirement... No family member is forgotten in this pack.

And speaking of family members... Here, too, we have a new feature! Until now, Sims could have a child naturally, or by adoption. With this pack, science enters the game, allowing us to create a biological baby, via a surrogate mother. To do this, you'll need to ask a close family friend to help you.

This pack should also bring a little challenge to your games. The attractions system has become even more complex. You can now specify, for each Sims, their preferences in terms of conversation topics and behavior. For example, Sims who don't like sports enthusiasts or mischievous people will find it much harder to strike up a friendship or romantic relationship with them! What's more, conversation options adapt according to the age of the interlocutors: an elderly person may want to give their grandchild some money, while a brother and sister will have more options for bickering.

Naturally, this pack comes with a massive free update to the base game. An update that allows us to really play with our babies, now freed from their cradles. This is a life stage in its own right: after the newborn stage, and before toddlers, come infants. They can learn new skills, play, crawl around the house, throw tantrums... Good news for gamers, not so good news for Sims parents, who will have to look after their offspring full-time.

Don't worry: raising these little Sims is as much fun as ever: each infant is a unique being! To discover their personality, you have to play with them and pay close attention to them... You'll then know whether they're good eaters or picky eaters, aggressive or very affectionate, like to be carried or not... Special personality traits have been added for them, and are activated according to actions taken during the game!

As always, if you buy this pack before April 27, you can get three collectors' items: a decorated swing, a small whale-shaped slide and a sports machine for grown-ups.
