Fortnite and Star Wars fans, mark your calendars! On May 28, 2025, Battle Royale announced an end-of-season event for Galactic Battle, revolving around the Star Wars universe and entitled Sabotage of the Death Star. This event was particularly eagerly awaited by fans, as Fortnite returned to this type of event after an absence of several years.
What will this event consist of? No details have yet been released, apart from the fact that players will"takecommand of an Imperial X-wing or TIE fighter while awaiting the launch of the event". Players will then have to sabotage theDeath Star, as announced at the season launch. To take part in the event, go to the Battle Royale mode on June 7 at 8 p.m. and experience the Star Wars universe like never before.
Doors open at 6 p.m., and gamers can avoid the queues by downloading the Fortnite Mobile app (unless you're on an iPhone, in which case it's going to be tricky). As for whether players will only be in X-Wings like in the movie, or whether you'll be able to wander around the starbase itself... We'll have to wait for the event to find out.
