Adventure Boat: we tested the immersive experience on a boat in Nogent-sur-Marne

Ready for adventure on a real boat on the Marne... ? Head for Adventure Boat, an immersive experience to be discovered in Nogent-sur-Marne, at the town's port. Inspired by the world of Jungle Cruise, this life-size adventure combines exploration, mystery and cooperation (but not only!), in a tropical and fun atmosphere.

Aboard a privatized boat, players have to solve a series of enigmas in less than 1h30, while enjoying a gentle, green navigation. The whole experience takes place in the open air, in a setting halfway between river expedition and treasure hunt, designed for families, groups of friends or team-building teams. Note that not all experiences are inescape game format, and some just offer a stroll along the water.

A total of three experiences are on offer:

• Morning cruise - Daily at 9, 10 or 11 a.m.

"As soon as the first rays of sunshine appear, come aboard for a peaceful, gourmet morning on the Marne. Aboard our jungle boat, experience a moment of calm and escape, accompanied by pastries, fresh fruit, natural juices... and an atmosphere straight out of an expedition book. Experience a soothing, immersive morning in the world of explorers, perfect for an original, rejuvenating wake-up call". Duration: 45 min. For groups of up to 10 people.

• Secret Chest Hunt - Daily at 12 or 3 p.m.

"Plunge into the heart of a mysterious expedition aboard our adventurous ship. Solve puzzles, find artifacts and thwart the curse of the Sacred Chest. Leave with your own explorer souvenir and free digital photos! Duration: 1h15. For groups of up to 10 people.

• La recherche de l'apéro perdu - Every day at 6pm, 7:45pm or 9pm

"The Mad Barman has lost the recipe for the Sacred Elixir... With a glass in hand, participants will have to complete a series of mini-tests involving tasting, the senses and chance, in order to find it... before the end of the cruise. Guided by a comedian, you'll enjoy an experience full of laughter, light-hearted riddles and surprises 4 over a well-deserved aperitif. An original evening to share with friends, colleagues or adventurers of taste. An aperitif like no other& where legend becomes reality. Cocktails, atmospheric wines & free photo of your crew on board! Duration: 1h30. For groups of up to 10 people. A musical experience, with a live singer.

Our review of Adventure Boat:

An adventure that the editorial team naturally tested out, on a particularly sunny and hot day. Note that we discovered a hybrid format, to see just about every propositionAdventure Boat invites you to discover. As far as theescape game itself is concerned, it offers a mix of puzzles worthy of any good Parisian room and observation, since animals (let's be clear, statues of course...) are the main attraction. It's hard to have a leopard in the wild in the middle of the residences) can also be observed through binoculars, for an adventure somewhere between Jungle Cruise and Jumanji. It's well thought-out, well executed and ideal for children, for a birthday party for example.

The puzzles are of course easy to understand, and will still require you to connect your neurons to get to the end of the adventure (you're bound to get to the end of the adventure anyway). The difficulty of the adventure can also be adjusted to suit all ages and levels.

As far as theaperitif is concerned, we didn't experience the escape game with cocktails, but we can say that the platters served were very nice and refreshing for the summer heat. For the aperitifs too, one of the hosts of the experience, Gaëlle Vacante, will sing pretty songs in her beautiful voice, for an unrivalled moment of relaxation and music. It's a real experience to be had on the water, and one that will undoubtedly delight anyone looking for something a little out of the ordinary, with the added bonus of a lovely voice.

In short, this is an experience we'd recommend, especially for families, who should enjoy the kid-friendly puzzles and a more convivial time for parents, who can take advantage of the very pleasant ride. We'd also recommend this adventure to groups of friends or colleagues who'd like to enjoy an aperitif off the beaten track in a small group. And of course, the experience is ideal for birthday parties, both for children in the escape game and for adults in the aperitif. All you have to do is book!
