Takumi Flavours is the concept store dedicated to Japan that the City of Light has been missing. An opportunity for all to (re)discover the gastronomy and craftsmanship of the Land of the Rising Sun, in the heart of the Maison de la Culture du Japon.
Just to give you an idea. Takumi Flavours offers curious visitors a rich collection of traditional Japanese products. From gourmet products such as tea, sake and noodles, to traditional tableware, furoshiki (traditional fabrics) and other imported handicrafts.
More than just a boutique, this new spot is intended to be a place to live and experience. Enthusiasts and the curious will be able to meet up for tastings, participatory workshops and other recurring events combining gastronomy and tourism. It's an opportunity to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Paris for the calm of Japan.
"We aim to make this place a crossroads of discovery and experience benefiting not only active visitors to the Maison de la Culture du Japon, but more broadly anyone interested in cultural events, cuisine and new products, including tourists or professionals such as wholesalers or chefs looking for new products!" explains Euro Japan Crossing, behind the concept-store project dedicated to Japan.
To take you even further, we've put together a city-guide to the best places to experience Japan in Paris. Cheaper than a round-trip Paris-Tokyo ticket, but just as exotic. Enjoy your trip!
