La Paris Design Week Factory puts young creators on the map with four venues in the Marais, spotlighting emerging talent and collectible design to discover during Paris Design Week 2026, from September 10 to 19.

Save the date, design lovers! This fall, the Paris Design Week returns to the capital with a fresh wave of creations to discover across Paris. Over ten days, thoughtfully designed installations, furniture and objects open the doors of galleries, showrooms, studios and institutions to showcase everything the world of design has to offer. And good news for the curious: a substantial portion of the route is free. Lace up your sneakers—the hunt for great ideas runs from September 10 to 19, 2026.

And since the next generation isn’t planning to wait its turn, the Paris Design Week Factory is putting young talent back in the limelight. Having over the editions become the laboratory of young creation and collectible design, this itinerary unfolds across four Marais addresses, from 10 au 14 septembre 2026. This year, Jean-Baptiste Durand and Simon Geringer take the helm of the selection and deliberately blur the boundaries between design, art and craft. The works won’t simply be lined up on stands: they’ll be staged in scenographies designed for each venue, so the pieces and their universes can converse. The route is free and open to the public with registration (QR code at the entrance in previous years).

4 places to spot tomorrow's talent:

  • L’Espace Commines : about forty exhibitors transform this iconic venue into a showcase where pieces freely traverse design, art and craftsmanship. The curators’ duo deliver a staging specifically crafted for the space.

  • 116 rue de Turenne : emerging creations gather in a shared setup where forms, materials and worlds converse. Under the guidance of Jean-Baptiste Durand and Simon Geringer, the venue aims for a flow‑friendly visit—more like a collective exhibition than a small fair.

  • 16 rue des Minimes : here the new talents make room for established designers and publishers. From ateliers to publishing houses, the pieces trace the journey from prototype to final object.

  • 10 rue de Turenne : the China Creative Pavilion hosts BON GOÛT ! GOOD TASTE !, an exhibition about taste in all its forms. Design, materials, gastronomy and lifestyle converge to offer a snapshot of contemporary Chinese creation, balancing tradition with new expressions.

And the new guard doesn’t stop at Factory’s doors. On the Mobilier national side, Vivement Demain #5 brings together recent graduates from Campus Mode, Métiers d’Art & Design in the Galerie des Gobelins, alongside the 14 finalists for the Mobilier national Young Creation Award 2026, from September 9 to 13. The program also features Café Parisien by ppdesigner at BHVP, ECAL × Helinox, and Studio Zbeul, among the events to keep on your radar.

In short, keep your eyes peeled: the next generation of design already has a solid head start.
