The Poetic Runway: where fashion, poetry, and music come together in an eclectic Parisian bar

The Poetry Fashion Show is the event where words take the runway and style takes the mic. On Friday, March 6, 2026, starting at 7 p.m., the Griffon Café-Bar, a hidden gem in the heart of the 4th arrondissement, hosts an evening where poetry and fashion walk hand in hand — or rather, string in string.

Born from a collaboration between the Poetry Club, Bœuf Sans Viande, and REROOM, this innovative event blends fashion with spoken word, verse with fabric. Here, poets take center stage, each word carefully crafted and every rhyme perfectly tailored like a bespoke piece. Closer to a fashion show but free from traditional conventions, the performance creates a runway where poetry becomes movement and garments tell stories.

Each artist showcases creations by a designer carefully selected to reflect a harmony between their world and theirs. A poet might appear one to three times, changing outfits as seamlessly as shifting stanzas, accompanied by live musicians who set the rhythm for the evening.
