While you're waiting for the Paris Book Festival, discover the African Book Fair, from March 14 to 16, 2025, at the Halle des Blancs Manteaux. An opportunity to celebrate and discover , free of charge, the wealth of African literature and its authors, for the fourth time, on the theme"Voyage(s) en diaspora(s)".
Over sixty publishers and almost 200 authors are expected to attend. It's an opportunity to meet or discover some exceptional writers, and to leave - perhaps - with a signing from your favorite artist. A children's area dedicated to children's literature, comics and educational books awaits the youngest visitors, with writing workshops and fun activities.
Visitors will also be able to attend conferences and prize-giving events. While the Salon du livre africain is an opportunity to find French-language works from Africa, it is above all the 1,800 languages spoken in the 54 countries of the African continent that will be in the spotlight.
A genuine presentation of African cultural heritage and diversity, with a special focus on Cameroon and Brazil, this year's guests of honor. Learn more about African literature from the many authors of all nationalities who have published works on this continent in the throes of metamorphosis.
