The cultural movement Nez is hosting the third edition of Paris Perfume Week, blending a festival atmosphere with a trade show. This event highlights this iconic product, cherished by everyone. It’s a chance to share expertise, explore the behind-the-scenes world of perfumers and both French and international brands, participate in workshops, or learn more about the craft through conferences. Mark your calendar for April 9 to 11, 2026, at the historic Palais Brongniart!
Everyone has a story with fragrance—memories of people, places, and moments that often spark emotion. Challenge your nose during this perfume-focused edition of the "Fashion Week," open to the general public, with workshops exploring the history of raw materials, where you can sniff astonishing ingredients or legendary scents and sharpen your memory, alongside 150 exhibitors, with perfumers’ stalls from around the world.
About thirty "Smell Talks" will give voice to perfumers, scientists, officials and artists, for a range of varied conferences. The Behind the Scent program sheds light on the trades and know‑how of the industry, from raw materials to the finished product, through panel discussions, personal testimonies and encounters, in a pedagogical and open approach.
Exhibitions and scent installations, a specialty bookstore run by Éditions Nez, book signings, and an off-site program will round out this edition.
Our Take
An edition we could actually attend! Set in a stunning space right next to the Bourse metro, you’ll discover hundreds of niche perfumers, and who knows, you might just find your new favorite fragrance. But beyond wandering the maze of booths, you can also attend talks or get an inside look at the trade upstairs.
That’s where the interactive side of the fair really shines, with three exhibitions exploring Italian scents, roses, and renowned master perfumers. In an immersive space, you can sample fragrances that evoke Italian cities, savor Italian sweets like tiramisu, and even wander through street vibes, all while encountering classic Italian perfumes that feel like a travel guide.
A little further on, a whole room packed with rose fragrances takes you into the heart of Oman’s cultivation and the various varieties of this bloom. The final installation spotlights exceptional creators and their stories, brought to life by the Osmothèque. Our favorite is the interactive experience from EveryHuman, which lets you craft your own scent with the help of artificial intelligence, beside the first-floor food area.
Yes, this is the one on-registration activity, and it carries a €12 surcharge, but it’s well worth the detour. Chatting with the AI on your phone, you can request a precise fragrance or let it guide you after a short Q&A, then watch your scent come to life on a machine right before you. You leave with a fragrance that doesn’t exist anywhere else, and if you love it, you can later buy a larger bottle from the brand’s site.
It’s a great place to learn more about the perfume world, but be forewarned: it can get crowded, especially on the ground floor where most of the perfumers are gathered. If you’re easily overwhelmed by scents, this may not be the event for you—several fragrances mingle and linger in the air. You don’t need to be a perfume expert, but a touch of curiosity helps!
