From November 28 to December 7, 2025, the Salon des Santonniers de Provence is back in Meaux (77): just in time for the Christmas holidays and New Year celebrations, this is your chance to immerse yourself in this iconic French craft.
In France, santons are an iconic part of the holiday season: these little figures are found in miniature scenes, most often in Christmas nativity scenes. Originally from Provence, this tradition is found in this region, but also in many other parts of the country throughout the holiday season.
Organized by the Rotary Club of Meaux, this fair features numerous santon artisans who have come especially to sell their creations, as well as molding workshops where you can learn how to make them yourself! This is an opportunity for santon enthusiasts to expand their Christmas nativity scenes and discover an ancient craft!
Come to the Bossuet Room: admission is free and open to all, Fridays from 2pm to 7pm, Monday to Thursday from 2pm to 6pm and weekends from 10am to 7pm (except December 7, when it closes at 6pm).
