In Villebéon, a commune near Fontainebleau and the state-owned forest in Seine-et-Marne, it's time to rediscover the authentic spirit of this agricultural festival, which attracts over 16,000 visitors every year. The organizers have lined up a program rich in discoveries, with events that will appeal to children and their parents alike. This day of rural awareness gives farmers from the Seine-et-Marne region the opportunity to share their passion for their work with the general public.
The program for this 2025 edition promises to be particularly rich, with events showcasing agriculture in the Seine-et-Marne region:
This unique program thrills the public, offering an impressive spectacle that combines conviviality and discovery of the world of agriculture. Families can also take advantage of a wide range of baptisms: tractors, combines, quads and even helicopters. Younger visitors won't be left out, either, with pony rides, pedal tractors and the famous Festi'Train for children's enjoyment.
Villebéon is about 1h15 from Paris by car, taking the A6 and then exit 15. Visitors arriving by public transport can reach Fontainebleau-Avon by RER D, then take a shuttle or cab. Free parking will be available on site, as specified by the organizers.
Food stalls and an ephemeral market of local producers will showcase the riches of the Seine-et-Marn region. You'll be able to taste the famous Meaux and Melun bries, discover Gâtinais honeys, and taste the fruits and vegetables grown in the department's rich soils. A great opportunity to sample farm produce and regional specialities while supporting local agriculture.
The Île-de-France Regional Chamber of Agriculture will be present with a number of activities, including a presentation of the Ecorobotix autonomous robot, a technological innovation in vegetable weeding. The Bienvenue à la Ferme network will also be taking the opportunity to launch the Balade du Goût 2025, scheduled for October 18 and 19.
Admission is €7 for adults and free for children under 10. No reservation is necessary, just turn up at 10am. Organizers recommend arriving early to take full advantage of all the activities on offer until 6pm. The traditional "game of 1000 prizes" promises exceptional gifts throughout the day.
This beautiful day in the countryside reminds us that Seine-et-Marne remains the leading agricultural department in the Paris region, with 260,000 hectares of cultivated land. It's a unique opportunity to meet the people who feed us every day, and to discover the challenges facing modern agriculture in our region.
