This Sunday, June 11, 2023, Novak Djokovic will contest another French Open final and attempt to win his 23rd Grand Slam title, against Norway's Casper Ruud on Court Philippe-Chatrier.

On Friday, after an intense match that had Roland-Garros spectators on the edge of their seats, Novak Djokovic knocked out Carlos Alcaraz, once again clinching his ticket to the final, which will take place this Sunday, June 11, 2023, on Court Philippe-Chatrier. Will the Serbian player win his third French Open, following his two triumphs in 2016 and 2021? To do so, he'll have to beat Norway's Casper Ruud, who defeated Alexander Zverev after he was forced off injured. It promises to be a great final, and one to watch on your television screens if you haven't had the chance to get a seat!

If Djokovic wins, it will be his 23rd Grand Slam title, a record that would put him ahead of Rafael Nadal, who also holds 22 major titles. The 36-year-old, who was at the heart of controversy during the pandemic, shared his delight at once again reaching this final stage of the Paris clay-court tournament: "I'm once again very happy to have reached the final. It's not over yet, obviously, we've got another match. I hope I can be at my best to win another title".

Casper Ruud also has something to prove this year, having been knocked out in 2022 by defending champion Rafael Nadal. As usual during the competition, the match will be broadcast on France Télévisions and Amazon Prime Video in the afternoon.
