France is the world champion! The men's biathlon relay team won on Saturday, February 18, at the World Championships inOberhof, Germany. The team, composed ofAntonin Guigonnat, Fabien Claude,Emilien Jacquelin and Quentin Fillon Maillet, defeated the Swedish and Norwegian teams after a difficult battle .The Norwegians, the favorites for this stage of the competition, were undefeated throughout the season.
The French team is leading these Championships with a masterful hand, after obtaining the bronze medal in the mixed relay, and the gold medal in the pursuit, thanks to Julia Simon, it is a third title obtained by the tricolors this year. For the men's relay, this gold medal is the culmination of an almost perfect season. In recent months, the tricolors have shone in this discipline and have climbed on three podiums in four races. A feat of which the French can be proud!
