Water skiing in Paris? Yes, almost: head to Choisy-le-Roi, in the Val-de-Marne département, for an introduction to this aquatic discipline.
In all, the spot boasts a large water-ski lift equipped with 5 pylons and a twin-pulley lift to accommodate several people on the water at the same time, enabling both wakeboarding and water-skiing to be practised, in private lessons or courses.
Count €28 for one hour of discovery with access to the water ski lift and equipment included, €39 for two hours. If you need a private lesson to get started, count €50 per session (30 minutes) for one person. For those of you who are a little chilly, the Kable also offers wetsuit hire, for €5 to €7 depending on the duration of the session. Good news: if you're under 25 and have your youth pass, a discount applies too! For regulars, the most attractive option is to take out a season ticket at a reduced rate.
Le Kable is open during July and August, every day except Tuesday, with opening times varying from day to day. Want to try your hand at waterskiing and wakeboarding in Choisy-le-Roi?
