Paris's 18th arrondissement welcomes the 10K Montmartre, a new urban race to be experienced on January 18, 2026. An opportunity to discover the emblematic district from a sporting and festive angle, open to all levels. Don't miss the launch of registration this Thursday, October 9, 2025.

On Sunday, January 18, 2026, Paris will be enriched by a new sporting event with the 10K Montmartre, an urban race taking place in the 18th arrondissement. We tell you all about this great discovery for running enthusiasts in Paris, who want to start the year by running in one of the capital's most emblematic neighborhoods.

This new race is designed to be accessible and friendly. It invites both experienced runners and beginners to take up their first challenge of the year in an urban setting full of character. The route crosses Montmartre, allowing runners to rediscover the richness of this lively, creative and cosmopolitan district. With its cobbled streets, artistic heritage and vibrant energy, the 18th arrondissement offers an ideal playground for a different kind of urban running.

The event is based on the values of openness and inclusion, supported by title partner AG2R LA MONDIALE, which affirms the importance of making sport accessible to as many people as possible. Fabrice Heyriès, Managing Director, explains: "We are convinced that sport is a formidable vector for social cohesion, health prevention and inclusion." The Group is therefore supporting this event, which combines performance, discovery and conviviality.

Right in the heart of winter, this race is one of the first major running events in Paris of the year. For runners, it represents a motivating objective of winter preparation, transforming the cold months into a concrete and stimulating challenge. It's also an opportunity to set a course at the start of the year and maintain your sporting motivation.

Beyond the sporting aspect, the event highlights the soul of the district: its popular energy, cultural diversity and unique heritage. The route takes in the area, which has seen Olympic athletes and Tour de France riders pass through its streets. Place du Tertre, Sacré-Cœur and the many streets that have inspired so many artists come to mind. This race offers an original way of (re)discovering Montmartre from a different angle, far removed from the usual tourist tours.
