The Grand Paris Race 2026: Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and Kids’ Run at the Stade de France

Friends of sports and fitness, mark your calendars for April 5, 2026, and get ready to take part in the next edition of the Great Paris Race. The race will kick off in the heart of the city and culminate at the iconic Stade de France!

Ever heard of the Grande Course du Grand Paris? This race, with its sporting, ecological, solidarity and humanist values, has a strong symbolic dimension: linking the center of the capital with Greater Paris, crossing the barrier of the ring road and celebrating the region with a finish at the mythical Stade de France!

This is a sports challenge you simply can’t afford to miss! On Sunday, April 5, 2026, you’ll have the option to participate in a 21 km semi-marathon, an eco-friendly 10-kilometer race, a non-competitive 5 km run, or a kids’ race. There’s something for everyone — whether you're a beginner or a seasoned athlete from Île-de-France! This event combines sport, community spirit, and sustainability, offering all participants a fun, rewarding day of racing and camaraderie.

As for the route, athletes will enjoy an exceptional journey through the capital. The 10km will set off from Place de la République, passing through the Saint-Martin, La Villette and Saint-Denis canals. The finish line is on the Stade de France track, just like the greatest athletes! The half-marathon starts in the Bois de Vincennes, then passes through the Coulée verte René Dumont, Voltaire, République, Saint Ambroise, Stalingrad and La Villette, for the same finish as the 10km.

For the 5km race, participants will loop around the Pleyel neighborhood, passing by iconic Olympic sites such as the Olympic Aquatic Center and the Stade de France. Children and families aren't left out, either, with a free mini course ranging from 500 to 2,500 meters on the Stade de France track, designed for youngsters aged 6 to 15. These little future champions will have their turn the day before the adult race, on April 4th!
