Daffodil Run Against Cancer 2026: Everything You Need to Know About This Charitable Sporting Event

The Curie Institute is launching a new, engaging social and digital challenge—participate in the Daffodil Race Against Cancer! From March 10 to 22, 2026, aim to log as many kilometers as you can through running or walking. For every kilometer you cover, a donation will be made to the Curie Institute by the event’s main partner. Lace up your sneakers and join the fight against cancer. Registration is now open.

People are hitting the streets of Paris for a cause! The Jonquille Against Cancer Run is celebrating its 22nd edition in 2026. That’s all the more reason to join this year’s event, scheduled to take place from March 10 to March 22, 2026. Once again, there will be no large gathering, but instead a personal challenge: participants are invited to complete the race at their own pace through the organization's renewed virtual running event.

Using a dedicated smartphone app, participants can log their miles by walking or running throughout the Jonquille Week. Each recorded mile translates into a donation from the event’s main partner, which is then donated to the Institute. For every mile run, one euro is collected! Registration is now open on the Jonquille Against Cancer website.

Organized by the Institut Curie, this Daffodil Run and Walk is an opportunity to raise funds to help make a difference. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Institut Curie, which works to combat cancer.

To take part, download thefree Course Jonquilleapp, which allows you to keep track of the kilometers run by each participant, as well as the overall counter for all participants. Registration for the race costs 15 euros (and 10 euros for minors), and you'll need to remember to print out your race number, which you'll receive by e-mail.

So to all running enthusiasts, occasional runners and other walkers: don't hesitate to give your time to this charity event. A few kilometers a day is good for your health, and makes a big difference to research and the fate of thousands of patients in France. The idea, of course, is to mobilize the general public to the cause, to maximize the chances of success of the operation.
