A Daffodil for Cancer Awareness: The annual campaign by the Curie Institute aims to raise public awareness about the fight against the disease. From March 10 to 14, 2026, the Pantheon will host a blooming and supportive village.

The Curie Institute is celebrating the 22nd edition of its annual campaign, A Narcissus Against Cancer, running from March 10 to 22, 2026. This event aims to rally the French population around the fight against cancer. The daffodil, a flower used by Curie Institute to help fund research efforts, has become a powerful symbol of the battle against this devastating disease. Every euro raised during this charity initiative helps increase the chances of remission for those affected by cancer.

Every year, numerous events and gatherings are held throughout March to raise public awareness for this cause. In Paris, the main hub is located at the Panthéon: from March 10 to 14, a Daffodil Village will be welcoming visitors. The site will feature a charity shop and a variety of activities accessible to everyone.

Visitors to the solidarity village will be able to collect donations, buy jars of daffodils and related items, and take part in solidarity events.

At the 2026 edition, the Curie Institute aims to honor and highlight those fighting against metastatic cancers, including patients, researchers, doctors, and caregivers. These cancers represent one of the biggest challenges for the medical community, accounting for 70% of the 164,000 annual deaths in France.

There are several ways to help fight these cancers. Athletes can particularly get involved by taking part in the online challenge, "La course de la Jonquille contre le Cancer", which turns physical activity into donations—one euro is donated to the Curie Institute for every kilometer logged. Register online now and walk or run from March 10 to 22, 2026, to raise funds and raise awareness.

Thanks to these events, cancer research can move forward. TheInstitut Curie is counting on you! If you would like to make a donation, please visit the Panthéon and the Institut Curie website: Une Jonquille contre le cancer.
