Want to see your poems displayed prominently in the metro?
The RATP is once again offering space for display in the underground transit system with its Grand Prix of Poetry, running from March 10 to April 13, 2026. From the age of 3, young poets can share their work through very short texts, up to 14 lines long. Since 2014, nearly 12,000 amateur poets have visited the RATP Grand Prix of Poetry website each year to showcase their talent.
There are three distinct age categories: Children for those under 12, Youth for those under 18, and Adults for anyone over 18. Once again, online users will have the chance to vote for their favorite piece starting at the end of May, in the Grand Prix Voyageurs. 11 winners will have the privilege of having their work displayed in the subway throughout the summer months, reaching millions of commuters.
Prizes include cultural gift vouchers and a subscription to a Bayard magazine for younger participants, as well as a weekend getaway for two in a European city for adults! For its 12th edition, the award is overseen by choreographer Benjamin Millepied and judged by a panel of arts and culture professionals.
The theme is always free, whether it's poetry of the everyday, lyrical, committed or funny, let your creativity work! So get to your pens!
