On Sunday, November 15, 2026, the Course des Lions de l'Espoir will take place at the beautiful Parc de Sceaux, in the Hauts-de-Seine department. This solidarity event is open to everyone, from seasoned runners to beginners, with two accessible distances—a 5km and a 10km—an untimed walk, and a 900m race for children. All proceeds will be donated to social and cultural aid for people in precarious situations or with disabilities.
The race is organized by the Lions Clubs of the south of the department, associations that work locally to offer leisure and a better life to people in need. They regularly organize events of this type, with the aim of helping disadvantaged students, planting depolluting trees in the city, organizing vacations for underprivileged children, or developing connected white canes for the visually impaired.
The proceeds from this 22nd edition will once again benefit an association backing Arthur Bellitto, a 17-year-old athlete training for the Los Angeles Paralympic Games in Antony, as well as other sports and disability charities.
