They shone at the 2024 Paris Olympics, racking up medals after fierce competition. But on Saturday, December 20, 2025, they will have to face each other... French fencers will meet at the Pierre de Coubertin stadium this winter for the French Elite Championships.
This national competition brings together the three fencing weapons—foil, épée, and sabre. Senior athletes, both men and women, compete in individual matches for the coveted title of French Elite Champion.
Throughout the day, on the pistes set up in thestadium ,in the 16th arrondissement, the fencers will battle it out and give their all for a chance to climb onto the final podium. Weapons in hand, the best athletes in each category will face off in thrilling duels that are sure to delight allfencing fans in the capital.
This event is open to the public: come cheer on your favorites and watch some exceptional bouts. Tickets are already on sale, and your ticket will allow you to watch the entire competition, from the elimination rounds to the final in the late afternoon.
A word of advice: unlike the fencers who are busy on the piste, you may get cold sitting in the stands. So wrap up warm so you can enjoy this unmissable championship in Paris.
