Organized by the French Athletics Federation and the City of Paris, the Paris Ekiden is back on Sunday, November 1, 2026. This relay race lets anyone run a marathon, even weekend warriors. In teams of 6, the runners take turns and each cover a distance between 5 km and 10 km to ultimately reach the 42.195 km, the same distance as the Marathon de Paris.

This original race comes to us from Japan, and in our version it takes you past the most beautiful monuments of Paris, thanks to its prestigious long course, with a start at Quai Jacques Chirac. Eiffel Tower, the banks of the Seine, Trocadéro, Invalides, offering a chance to admire these iconic capital landmarks during the relay — all while keeping your feet moving! So, which distance will you choose? 5 km, 10 km, or 7.195 km?
Which leg of the relay will you run? Entry fees range from 138 to 180 euros per team for the full marathon, i.e. 25 euros per person. Make your pick and hurry to sign up for the Paris Ekiden!
