Stade Français Paris and Stade Toulousain are opening a new chapter in their clásico. This Top 14 clash coincides with the Parisians’ return to the Saint-Denis venue, as they look to revive the grand relocations that have marked the club’s history.
The two teams have already met nine times on this ground, Stade Français points out. One of those matches remains particularly memorable: on October 15, 2005, the Parisians won 29–15 in front of 79,502 spectators. The attendance set a record at the time for a regular-season match in the French league.
For this return, the club has also announced entertainment and rugby-themed spectacles. The fixture brings together the sporting rivalry between the two clubs and the return of a Parisian event to the grandstands of the Saint-Denis venue.
