The Maison Basque of Paris is organizing a special celebration day on Saturday, March 7, 2026. The event will take place at the Maison Basque - Pariseko Euskal Etxea in Saint-Ouen, as well as through the streets of Paris. This celebration marks the 70th anniversary of the organization and will feature the Paris edition of Korrika—a charity run dedicated to preserving and promoting the Basque language (euskara). Traditionally, this event involves running through the seven provinces of the Basque Country.
Throughout the year, the organization highlights Basque culture and encourages locals and curious visitors alike to explore their traditions through a variety of events. Additionally, it manages a residence in Paris dedicated to young Basques, offering affordable accommodations to help them find jobs, pursue studies, or secure internships in the French capital, all at discounted rates.
For food, attendees can enjoy traditional taloas, classic corn pancakes, and relax with drinks available at the onsite refreshment stand.
