With a ceramics café in the 9th arrondissement and another in the 11th, La Papoterie welcomes young and old, ceramics painting professionals and amateurs alike, for a 2h30 session to create the design of your choice on dozens of pieces of crockery, decoration...

La Papoterie is the cozy, almost cocooning place in the 9th arrondissement where you can spend an entire afternoon sipping an enormous hot chocolate, enjoying a long cup of coffee or savoring a chocolate fondant or a delicious cookie.

This concept is the brainchild of Coline and Laura, who wanted to create a place that blends conviviality and creativity. With its colorful walls, its blank ceramics and its bright, comfortable spaces, you won't leave La Papoterie for long. It has to be said that the welcome is warm, generous even, and that the workshop is really for everyone. Laura recommends it for children aged 5 and over: "You just need to know how to hold a paintbrush", she explains. And it's true: the café céramique is full of enthusiasts who come to discover the joys of painting on ceramics, even if they have no notion of painting (or the remnants of first grade, perhaps). And that's the whole point of the place: to make the choice of a creative workshop for everyone, one that relaxes and feels good.

Some come to La Papoterie foraperitifs, others for snacks or brunch, and at every moment, the menu offers homemade products - this is the case for all the cakes, except the cookies, which come from the bakery next door - or from local producers. The menu focuses on the local, with craft beers and products sourced as far as possible from short circuits. For snacks, gourmets are in for a treat, from the chocolate fondant that perfumes the workshop, to the vanilla roulade, to the choco-hazelnut cookie served just warm...

The café staff will explain how ceramic painting works, guide you step by step if necessary, and are never far away for advice! At this ceramic café, the price of the workshop is included with the piece(s) you choose to paint. Once the 2.5 hours are up, all you have to do is wait two weeks to collect your fired creation.
