Pastel colors and a childlike design: as soon as you step inside, you feel as if you're in a cocoon. At Biscotti, Sara and Corty wanted to create a convivial place, combining ceramic painting and specialty coffee. Sara is in charge of the ceramics: for several years now, she has been perfecting her skills in this area, and in fact, it is she who has painted and modeled all the cups in which she serves the coffees!
"We wanted to create a space where people can come and do activities they can't necessarily do at home," says Sara, who has been involved in the project for over a year now. She was soon joined by Corty, whose passion for specialty coffee makes the place a perfect match for these young parents from Audon.
On the menu, nothing but classic hot drinks (also available in cold versions for lattes): matcha, chai, flat white, expression... prepared with love, but above all, with specialty coffee roasted in Paris. Fresh drinks (ginger beer, fruit juice or kombucha) are also available.
"Offering good products was essential for us," explains Sara. So, for cakes and treats, they turned to Miettes bakery , which supplies them daily with cookies, marbles and other regressive cakes. Biscotti also sells their old-fashioned breads.
Whether you've come for a coffee, to take it away or just to sit here, you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to painting ceramic pieces. Eggcups, cups, coffee mugs, bowls or plates... on which you can give free rein to your creativity for two hours (or more, if you come during the day). Self-service activities are also offered free of charge during your visit, including embroidery kits, card games and coloring.
And if you'd like to improve your skills or learn how to model, Sara also offers modeling classes for children and adults. Children aged 5 and over can come on their own, while younger children aged 3 and over are invited to take part in a parent-child four-hand modeling session. Adult courses are also available à la carte.
Count from 2.5 € to 5.5 € for a hot drink, from 3.90 € for a pastry and from 10 € for a piece to paint.
Children's classes require quarterly registration (€230 per child), while parent-child classes can be booked à la carte, as can adult classes. Count €30 for a trial class, €50 for an à la carte class. You can also offer gift cards to Biscotti, for classes, ceramic painting or simply to enjoy the coffeeshop!
