The results of the 2026 Paris 20km are in. On Sunday, October 11, 2026, 35,000 runners set off from the Pont d'Iéna in the 16th arrondissement, aiming for the finish line at the Champ de Mars in the 7th. This 48th edition unfolded under pleasant skies.
Between the Bois de Boulogne, the Radio House and the banks of the Seine, the course keeps its postcard-perfect look of western Paris. And once again, the atmosphere along the route powered the runners to the foot of the Eiffel Tower, like a grand chorus pushing them on with every kilometer.
In the women's race, the podium is entirely French. Mekdes Woldu crosses the line first in 1h04'37, shaving two minutes off her personal best over the distance. Already holder of the French records for the marathon and the half-marathon, she confirms her status as the reference in French long-distance running.
Behind her, Manon Trapp—the 2024 champion—follows, with Salomé Brun close behind to complete a blue-white-red podium.
Another bright spot: women now constitute 43.8% of in-person registrations this year, up from 42% in 2025. A slow but steady rise that says a lot about the evolution of running in the city.
On the men’s side, the victory goes to Kenyan Daniel Tumaka Kosen in 57:11. He finishes ahead of Emmanuel Roudolff-Lévisse, second as last year. The French runner, holder of the French half-marathon record set in Barcelona in February 2026, delivers a strong performance in 57:45. Algerian Abderrazak Charik rounds out the podium.
For the second consecutive year, wheelchair athletes take the start of the Paris 20km. The French Julien Casoli wins the men's race in 44:00, while the British Melissa Nicholls takes the women's title in 1:02:47. A presence that is becoming a fixture in the event’s landscape, and that’s good news for the sport.
Beyond the clock times, the organizers emphasize an edition faithful to its spirit: sport, celebration and solidarity. Didier Eck, the race president, hails a “great success” and thanks the teams, the volunteers and the partners who keep the event alive.
Equally satisfied is Catherine Touvrey, CEO of Harmonie Mutuelle, who sees in this mix of profiles (beginners, seasoned athletes, and para-athletes) the heart of its eco-health approach. More than 900 employees, delegates, clients and partners of the mutual insurer took part in the run this Sunday.
The solidarity angle is also very much in evidence. As announced in our preview of the 2026 Paris 20km, this edition backs the Gregory Lemarchal Association, dedicated to the fight against cystic fibrosis.
To stay updated on the schedule, race details, and upcoming editions, the easiest route is the official Harmonie Mutuelle 20 km de Paris website. The 49th edition is expected to return in October 2027, not surprisingly.
And if you’re still hungry for more, the season isn’t over yet. Our guide to running and races in 2026 in Paris and Île-de-France lists the upcoming events, while our pick of obstacle and original races in Paris adds some variety. To compare spring times, the results of the Paris Half Marathon 2026 are also worth checking out.
Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
