The Versailles Ironman 70.3, postponed after the summer date was scrapped, will take place on Sunday, October 11, 2026. The program includes a swim in the Grand Canal, a bike ride through the Chevreuse Valley, and a run through Versailles, finishing on Avenue de Paris.

The Ironman 70.3 Versailles is slated for Sunday, October 11, 2026. Originally scheduled for July 12, the triathlon was postponed due to the heatwave. This new date takes the place of the summer event.

The format combines 1.9-kilometre swim, 90-kilometre bike leg and 21.1-kilometre run. For this edition, the city unveils a swimming leg in the Grand Canal of the Versailles estate, followed by a cycling course through the Chevreuse Valley.

The running route threads through Versailles' historic streets. The finish is set up on Avenue de Paris, opposite the Château de Versailles. This course thus differs from the route presented in the initial announcement.

To cheer on the participants, plan ahead for parking and traffic restrictions around the course. The City lays out the streets affected and the time slots on its dedicated event page. Athlete-specific information is available from the organizer.
