Arabian thoroughbreds beneath the glass roof of the Grand Palais—now that’s a sight to behold! From November 25 to 27, 2026, the World Arabian Horse Championship brings together the finest specimens from around the globe in Paris for three days of competition, equestrian shows and meet-ups. A not-to-be-missed event for enthusiasts and the merely curious alike!

The Grand Palais is getting ready to welcome some four-legged guests! From November 25 to 27, 2026, its majestic nave will host the World Arabian Horse Championship, or World Arabian Horse Championship Supreme. For the first time, this international competition is taking place beneath the famous Parisian glass roof, with the world’s finest Arabian thoroughbreds vying for the top titles. And you don’t need to be a rider to enjoy the show!

After a season galloping through several cities, including Doha, Abu Dhabi, Miami, London and Monaco, the medal-winning horses of the Global Champions Arabians Tour are coming together for one final showdown. But there’s no speed race or obstacle course here! This championship celebrates the qualities unique to the Arabian breed: the horses are presented before a jury, which assesses their conformation, head, neck and movement, among other things. The public will be able to watch the competitions and award ceremonies.

The 2026 World Arabian Horse Championship schedule

Three days of competition will determine the winners in the various categories before the champions are crowned:

  • Wednesday, November 25: championship opening and presentation of the yearlings, the one-year-old fillies and colts.
  • Thursday, November 26: the junior categories take center stage, with the young females and young males.
  • Friday, November 27: presentation of the mares and stallions, awarding of the top titles and closing ceremony.

But competition won’t be the only thing driving the event! Equestrian shows will feature throughout the various sessions, while the Horse Village will bring together exhibitors, artisans and professionals from the international breeding industry. It’s a chance to get up close to this world, talk to the people involved and learn more about these horses, some of which have impressive pedigrees.

On the practical side, the championship starts at 4 p.m. every day, with doors opening at 3 p.m. Admission is €15 per day for adults, €5 for children aged 3 to 11, and free for children under 3.

With its proud head carriage, refined build and elegance, the Arabian horse cuts a fine figure beneath the glass roof of the Grand Palais!
