After paddle, canoe, kayak... Why not try waterskiing in the Paris region? At least, that's what My little wake park offers, a small leisure park located near Boissise-le-Roi, in the Seine-et-Marne department. Here, you can opt for free waterskiing sessions if you're used to it, choose an introductory course to discover the basics of the discipline, or jump, slide and have hours of fun on the site's inflatable water games course.
For your first wakeboarding session, it’s highly recommended to book with a coach (May to September only): €20 for a 20-minute personalized lesson. For absolute beginners, slower-speed sessions are offered on the main tow: Saturdays from 11:00 to 15:00 and Wednesdays from 13:00 to 15:00. Outside these times, the main tow runs at about 30 km/h. Expect €21 for one hour on the main tow, €33 for two hours and €43 for five hours. Renting a wakeboard is essential if you don’t have one: add €10.
For those who prefer to discover a more universally accessible activity, opt instead for Watergames, an inflatable, floating course where buddies can have fun on slides, jumps and obstacle courses! Children are welcome, as long as they are accompanied by an adult (aged 7 to 12 inclusive) and know how to swim. Admission to the Watergames is €12 per hour per person.
After the effort, the comfort: on site, My little wake park also offers a catering section with boards to share, burgers and wraps, paninis, salads and other desserts to eat on the go between two jumps. My little wake park is open from April to October, from Wednesday to Monday, with opening times varying according to the month of the year. The site is also served by public transport: to get there, take the RER D towards Corbeil-Essonnes and get off at tatio Ponthierry-Pringy (the wake park is 500 m away). Enjoy the ride!
