Get out the sunglasses and straw hats,Paris' summer is shaping up to be a hot one! From July 25 to 27, 2025, Paris will once again be bouncing balls for a Beach Volleyball demonstration that promises sand, show and smash in the middle of the city. After setting the crowds alight at the 2024 Olympic Games, the capital is continuing to ride the wave of its sporting success - and it has no intention of slowing the pace!
Remember ... the dives into the Seine, the 3x3 basketball baskets on Place de la Concorde, the pinpoint passes at the foot of the Eiffel Tower... Images etched in the retinas of Parisians, visitors and spectators the world over. To rekindle this Olympic flame, a new salvo of collective emotions is in the pipeline.
This Monday, May 26, at a press conference organized by the City of Paris, Pierre Rabadan - deputy mayor in charge of sport, the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Seine - confirmed that two legendary venues would be on the starting line for Beach Volleyball. The Champ-de-Mars, the former playground of Olympic volleyball players, and the Place de la Concorde, the Mecca of freestyle skateboarding and breaking.
The countdown is on. Paris is flexing its summer muscles, and we're planning to watch this match from the front row. Game on!
